Why it started

With children at Brighton Grammar School and Firbank Grammar School, Robert found that their start and finish dates were often slightly different. Those small gaps made planning family holidays and care arrangements surprisingly difficult, particularly when both parents were working.

Termdates.com.au began as a small website shared between a handful of dads facing the same problem. The idea was simple: put reliable school term dates in one clear place, make differences easy to spot and help families plan ahead.
